This is a shot of the 1951 Buick LeSabre Concept car instrument panel, with an interesting array of "futuristic" gauges. They are very reminiscent of the McCulloch supercharger triple gauge set-up.
Here's a McCulloch style holder with three (newer) gauges...
Chrome was the future, apparently, for designers in the early 50's, obviously taking a clue from the hot rodders of the day.
